Travis comes to us from the middle school with a 27-6 record last season and a 4th place finish at the MYAS state tournament. He enjoys running, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. His goal for this year is an undefeated season.
Tyler Williams Sophomore

Favorite college wrestler: Cole Konrad
Tyler had a big season as a 9th grader wrestling for the Cardinals. After going 2-2 on varsity matches, he finished the season placing 4th at the 9th grade State Tournament. He enjoys playing football and hanging out with friends. His future goal is to qualify for State.

This is Jake’s 1st year wrestling with the Cardinals. He enjoys baseball, football, video games, and being outside. His future goals are to improve in wrestling and be a part of the Cardinal family.

This is Michael’s 1st year with the Cardinals, but not his first year wrestling. He only had two losses last season wrestling for Epiphany. He enjoys doing stuff with friends during his free time. His future goal is to go undefeated this season.
Mitchel Timm Freshman

Mitchel is in his first year wrestling for the Cardinals. During last season’s middle school season, he finished 3rd at the Wayzata invitational. He enjoys playing paint ball in his free time. His future goal is to place first in a tournament.
Luke Stoker Sophomore

Overall record: 11-7
Luke finished his freshmen year earning 3rd place at 9th grade sections and 1st place at the JV conference tournament. Luke also ran for the Cardinal cross-country team the past two years. He enjoys running and playing video games. His future goal is to wrestle on the varsity.
Jason Schafer Sophomore

Jason starts his second season with the Cardinals after a 10-10 season last year. He has been very busy in the weight room this past spring and summer. He enjoys bike riding in his free time. His future goal is to be on the varsity.
Doug Pouliot Sophomore

Doug is in his second year with the high school. Last season Doug had ten matches on the varsity while going undefeated on the 9th grade team. He enjoys eating and video games in his free time. Future goals include becoming a better wrestler and winning.

This is John’s first year with the Cardinals. He only had one loss last year wrestling for the middle school. He enjoys choir in the free time. His future goals are to improve.

Brandon comes into his second year with the Cardinals having a winning record on the freshman team. He enjoys football and hockey in his spare time. Hs future goals are to make the JV.

Daniel is the younger brother of Shamus. He was district champion last year Enjoys working out in his free time. Future goals include improving every year.
Kahron Nix Freshman

Overall record: 31-5
Kahron was undefeated on the 9th grade team in 2007. He became the varsity starter for the Section tournament last season as an 8th grader. Kahron enjoys wrestling and being extra good-looking. His future goals are to be a National Champion and a four time State Champion.

Chad was a State Qualifier in 2007 at 103lbs. He also finished 6th at the Christmas tournament, 2nd at the Rumble on the Red, and was selected as All-Conference. He enjoys hanging out with friends in his spare time and his future goals are to improve.
Matt Julkowski Sophomore

Matt is in his second year wrestling for the Cardinals. He is also a member of the Cardinal football and baseball teams. Matt enjoys playing football and baseball in his spare time. His future goals are to start on the varsity.
Robbie Neisen Senior

Favorite college wrestler: Jason Adams
Rob was the starting 275 pounder last season, finishing 4th in Section 7AAA as well as 5th at the Christmas tournament and 2nd at the Rumble on the Red. He was also 9th grade State Runner-up in 2005 at 189lbs. Robbie has had perfect attendance the last 3 years and has been a varsity starter in football the last 2 years. In his free time he enjoys going mudding with Engstrom. Future goals include winning Sections and placing top 3 in State.
Wesley Grice-Patil Junior

This will be Wesley’s second year with the program, but his first wrestling for the Cardinals. Last year Wesley just practiced with the Cardinals. In his spare time he enjoys breaking and fixing stuff. His future goals include earning a spot a JV and going to college for aviation.
Shamus O’Grady Senior Captain
Parents: Synthia O’Grady, Dan Klint
Overall record: 73-29
Shamus was the 2007 Class AAA State Runner-up at 152lbs. He also was the 2007 Section 7AAA champion as well as the 2005 9th grade State Champion. This past fall Shamus qualified for the State cross-country tournament finishing 35th. He enjoys chasing deer at the Coon Rapids Dam. His future goals include working to improve.
Jamarii Tucker Senior

Favorite college wrestler: Chas Betts & Andy Bisek
Jamarii had 18 varsity wins in 2007. He placed 6th at the 2007 Rumble on the Red and earned All-Conference honorable mention honors. Jamarii enjoys sports and friends in his free time and his future goals include a trip to State.
Dustin Rydberg Senior

Dustin is in his fourth year wrestling for the Cardinals. He was a member of the 9th grade State tournament team in 2005 and JV conference Champion. Dustin enjoys video games and paint ball in his free time and his future goals include making the varsity.
Mike Murphy Junior

Favorite college wrestler: Johnny Hendrick
Mike has been a three year varsity starter with 58 varsity wins. Last season he finished 3rd in Section 7AAA and last spring he was Minnesota freestyle State runner-up and a member of the Minnesota Storm National Team. He enjoys hunting and video games in his spare time. His future goal is a State title.
Jason Harbinson Junior

Jason is in his third season wrestling for the Cardinals where he has seen significant time on the JV. He enjoys hanging out with Miller and ripping up the back roads. Future goals include improving on all aspects of wrestling and life.
Rich Miller Junior

Favorite WWE wrestler: Betista
Rich is in his third year wrestling for the Cardinals. He is looking to wrestle between 135lbs-140lbs this season. He enjoys going where ever the Echo takes him. His future goals after graduation include going to college.
Joe Johnson Junior

Joe has three year’s experience with the Cardinal wrestling team. He had a successful summer in the weight room and looks to improve on last year’s record. Joe enjoys weight lifting and playing video games and his future goals are to improve.
